"For me, softball is my way to have fun and escape from the reality of life. Last season was cut short which is making me more eager to start this upcoming season. I’m most excited about the diversity that we have on the team and being able to create new bonds with the younger players. As a player for West Deptford, it has taught me how to how to be a better person all around, not just on the field. I am able to laugh with my teammates as well as my coaches while also learning new lessons each day."
